i was just wondering what the difference between codeine phosphate and oxycodone HCl is? i used to have a prescription for oxycodone (percocet?) and recently saw a friend with co-codamol which is the codeine phosphate. The oxycodone was 5/325 where the co-codamol is 30/500. i was wondering if the 5 compared to the 30 was relative or not.

He is allergic to codeine, but can take Hydrocodone, and Oxycodone. I was curious if he could safely take OxycontIn with his codeine allergy.

They are splittable tablets, paracetamol 500mg/codeine phosphate 30mg. Is PC the paracetamol and F the codeine phosphate? Thanks
