How soon will the lupron start to shrink fibroids & endometriosis?

I could find no information in regard to how long lupron takes to start help reducing fibroids etc. Treatment is only given for a maximum of 6 months and seems to be very successful relieving pain symptoms (sometimes surgery also needed).
