how soon after taking 2mg of ativan can you drive, how long after is it safe to drive normally?

You are not supposed to take Ativan and drive unless you have been on it for a while and know how it affects your driving. Please do not drive unless it is just a very short trip taken very soon after your pill, or wait several hours after dose to be sure it has lost effect or you are able to drive normally under it's influence. People have been killed driving while taking such drugs. This goes for ANY medications you are unfamiliar with.
