Is revia cumulative? In other words, in the case of antabuse, one has to take it for about 7-10 days to "saturate" before it's effective. Can you just take it when you think you're going to drink? If you weren't drinking every day and say went out one night could you take it that day? If so, how soon before drinking should you take it. 'If you take it in the a.m. does it work by evening? Or do you have to take it every day whether you're drinking every day or not?
How often do you have to take revia if you're not drinking everyday?

The recommended dose of Revia for alcoholism is 1 tablet daily (50mg), every day, regardless of your activities - follow these instructions unless instructed otherwise by your doctor.
