Also Canada has been an excellent recourse to purchase necessary medication when on a tight budget. The only other thing I could offer or suggest is that you switch your medication to another type of acid reflux type prescription, Nexium, Prevasit. Even though prevasit is over the counter a doctor can still prescribe it to make it less expensive. I know they have some coupons out for both medications. Ask your physician if there is a less expensive comparison prescription. Also you may want to purchase some additional insurance to cover what Medicare does not cover. They are called supplemental insurance plans and if you happen to belong to AARP they have lots of options and programs and they will help you decide which one is best for your particular situation.
