How many women have severe joint & bone pain after Boniva infusions?

I just started Boniva once a month yesterday on the 17th Nov. I stated feeling bad last night with stomach cramps and joint pain and flu like symptoms all day. Im not sure its right for me either.

I took Boniva once by mouth and I not only had severe bone and joint pain, but I had trouble breathing because I have esophagus problems. My doctor changed me to Reclast infusions and I still have severe bone and joint pain with it that last up to 6 months afterwards. At least they are given only once a year. I don't know how often Boniva infusions are given, but if they are more often maybe they could change you to Reclast Infusions once a year. They are extremely expensive, but I have no insurance or Medicare. I was told there was a slight chance of bone and joint pain afterward, but it should only last a few days so I thought something else was wrong with me, but maybe it is still from the Reclast. This seemed like an odd side affect since that is what this medicine is supposed to help!
