Xanax has a half-life of approximately 8 hours. Any drug's half live x 5 will be the approximate amount of time it remains in your system. So, for Xanax, it would be 8x5=40 hours. This will differ based on body weight and metabolism, however. But that is the best answer I can give not knowing your metabolic rate or your body weight.
