I need to stop sub soon.But I have to work and take care of my son too.How much time should I expect to feel awful.I am soooo scared.I wish I could get away and detox away from everyone.

Mrs Vic2many ... the answer is the same here as the forum. You don't jump from 4mg per day unless you want to end up in the ER. I've explained how to do this and told you I would help you when you're ready. Find someone who has a better track record than me and go with them. But we do quite well here when people follow instructions.

Robert... long time no talk to.So I will fill you in and tell you where I'm at now.Last time i talked months ago i had relapsed.then got on sub for just 5 days and didnt taper and i had bad w/d and couldnt deal.I couldnt work or take care of my son.So I went back to my dr and begged to get back on the sub.Immedietly and obviously my w/d stopped.I have been on sub ever since.I am not sure how long its been.But I started at 2mg twice a day.Now I am at 1.5mg twice a day.I am so sad.I once again feel trapped.Is there anyway to avoid feeling completely.Do you have some success storys with sub that i can read.I get scared cause i read all the horror stories getting off of sub.I want this to be really over robert.I am 34 and my son is 3.I am a very nice and outgoing person.I make people laugh ,thats my best quality.I wanna be this person without opiates synthetic or real!

IF you'll taper 25% every four days what could be anymore simple than that? It's proven to work, it doesn't cause problems for most people. you're just freaking out over nothing the same as you were a year ago. And if you don't do something different you'll still be here doing the same thing next year.
The forum is FULL of success stories using subs. You'll have to find them, they are everywhere. But you either do this right, do it wrong or use. Those are your only three choices. I'm here and on the forum if I can help and you'll follow instructions. A year ago you didn't listen or pay attention to what I asked you to do. You would have been long clean by now. It's your call. I tapered to 1/2 a 2mg a day and the last few tabs every other day. It was about a month I've got kids too and I still feel miserable. I've been through worse when I didn't know I was withdrawling from this shit. I thought I had the flu. My doctor told me he's got a patient who takes a quarter 2mg tablet subling/day and functions just fine. I'm tempted to go get more and do that too cause I'm not where I want to be functioning. I've gotten to the vitamin store and bought the "Thomas Recipe" hoping to speed this process up. The nutritionist suggested NAC 2xday. This is what is put in IV drips in ER rooms for people on PCP. He says it's a very powerful detox. I'm looking into the drug "half life" to get a better idea why it's taking so long. It's definately more than a few days. Best of luck and stay strong. If you can get away, I recommend do it. Call a church. I answered your other question about pregnancy too.

I take 2mg twice a day.I havent started tapering yet.but I really want to get off sub.i want to be clean
I tried stopping at 2mg a day and got to day 3 of not sleeping and went back on them I've been told to cut down every 4 days till you get to .25mg then take that skip a day take another .25 skip two days the another .25 skip three day and around the 4th time u should feel w/d effects. They do last a while if you were to stop now. All I read from people saying w/d can last 14+ days and that would suck but I've heard if you taper down they really aren't that bad.
