I was just prescribed Lamictal to go along with my other meds and was wondering how long it takes to work? It was given to me for depression and stabilizing moods. I already take Saphris and Trazadone.
How long til it works? Lamictal?

Hi, This does take some time - a couple of weeks to work as the system needs to adjust to it. Be sure to watch for any rashes on the body or sores in the mouth as this is a cause for concern. Your doctor will want to know immediately if you have such a reaction. Don't ignore it. Also as with many drugs he may need to adjust your dosage for optimum results. Best wishes.
