How long should I stop breastfeeding after taking Butalbital?

Yes, that is long enough I chose to breast feed and I had terrible headaches after the birth of my daughter and I had to take the same medicine once a week and about that many if not more. It's not harmful but you are very diligent in waiting if you have frozen breast milk that works too and you can pump out the milk you think might have the fiorinal/fioricet in it since you don't take it on a regular basis. My daughter is 21 now and beautiful and perfect in every way. Having a headache makes you more dangerous to the baby than the drug. Good luck I hope you don't have many more!! It does work tho.
