Meclizine tabs are indicated for motion sickness: it is recommended to be taken prior to travel for protection against motion sickness. Thereafter, the dose may be repeated every 24 hours for the duration of the journey. However since the prescription is 5 years old it is recommended that you talk to your pharmacist/doc., hope this helps?

usually they tell you not to take it 1 year after the fill date. Especially 5 years it will be ineffective
