Toss that, at the least it will be ineffective, or could actually have gotten pretty germy in 14 years. Neosporin has an antibacterial cream with pain relief that is pretty good. Some of the major drugs stores and even Target have their own brand of the same stuff. Unless it is a really stubborn infection, this should really help.
