I was taking revatio for pulmonary hypertension and I began swelling.After I stopped taking it I still remained swollen until I took lasix.
How long does revatio remain in system after you stop taking it?

Since you took the Lasix, it should cut the swelling, and the length of time for it to work depends on the # of miligrams.
But you have pulmonary hypertension, you could potentially go into an attack of hypertension. Which can lead to water in the lungs, congested heart and other failures in your body. Stay with it till your doc. takes you off of it. That is my best thought !

After taking lasix for about a week most of the swelling went down. I do have some swelling due to taking Cardizem. I've never had swelling problems before taking cardizem and also verapimil which is also a calcium channel blocker. They both have the side effect of swelling.
