3 days of Cipro and 4 days of macrobid? Are you 'self medicating'? You'll normally take one OR the other for at least 10 days, and with Macrobid for another week after a clean urinalysis.Macrobid has some serious side effects depending on your age/condition etc. But for pain/burning you need Pyridium, that is usually prescibed alongside the antibiotic. You'll feel immediate(15-20 min.) relief. it's a life saver! Good luck!
