I was taking 25mg Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 20mg the rest of the week just to keep my protime above 2.0. If I miss a dose, it's almost guaranteed that my next PT/INR will be low. Having said all that, if you've been off the drug a week, you should be fine. Of course I'm assuming that you were on it to begin with to lessen the risk of stroke. If you've been taken off of coumadin, I'm assuming that stroke is no longer a danger? Perhaps your doctor would be open to scheduling one last protime to relieve any anxiety you may have over it.
