How long does Focalin xr last?

My 8 year old son takes Focalin XR - 10mg. It barely seems to get him through the school day. How long is one dose supposed to last?

Bergermeister,
Focalin XR is supposed to last 8 hrs. If it isn't working for your son, I'd suggest talking to his doctor and seeing if he/she wants to try him on some other med for his ADHD. Hope this helps.
