Well any opiod type medication will take anywhere from 2-5 days to get out of your system completely. But a significant amount of the drug - like most of the medicinal and pain relieving qualities - all that should be out of of your system within ~1 day. It depends on what type and strength of pain meds you normally take. I hope that helps! I'm no doctor, but I've been on about every pain med on the planet, so I'm speaking from personal experience and research and info from my dr's. Morphine pills are time released and considered long-acting pain meds for which you're supposed to take like clockwork and have a constant amount of in your system (as opposed to, say, a lortab or percocet, which are considered short-acting and you're supposed to take "as needed") so it can be hit or miss, but if your wondering how long you should wait to resume taking your regular pain meds - if you're in pain you should be able to take something for it if at least a day has gone by.
