Valium'a half-life: 20–100 hours (36-200 hours for main active metabolite desmethyldiazepam). It can remain in your system for several days, or up to 12.5 days, depending on your metabolism, genetic makeup, body weight, fat cells (Valium is lipid soluble and is stored in fat cells), and height.

I took what I think is a 5mg klonapin around 2 am last night thinking it was something else. I need to know how long it stays in the system.

... taken. I take valium so would a test just test positive for benzos or can they work out it's not just valium in my system but klonopin too
