Valium'a half-life: 20–100 hours (36-200 hours for main active metabolite desmethyldiazepam). It can remain in your system for several days, or up to 12.5 days, depending on your metabolism, genetic makeup, body weight, fat cells (Valium is lipid soluble and is stored in fat cells), and height.
