You have to be in a mild to moderate withdrawal before starting Suboxone. It's a great drug and many people like it. Stay on if for as long as you think you need to be on it. It's also easy to come off of (In my opinion). Hope this helps and congrats on becoming you again! Good Luck to you!

for me personally it about 9 hrs after my last dosage of about 5 lortab 7.5s... works good for me but i induct with 2mg of subutex
