Excretion is primarily as peptide fragments in the feces (70% to 80%) and approximately 20% to 30% is renally excreted. Median terminal half-life is approximately 53 days. Cl is approximately 9 L/h.

It takes approximately 5.5 x elimination half life for a medicine to out of ones system. Since the elimination half life of 53 days, it can take up to 292 days (5.5 x 53 days) to be out of your system.
