You take it as long as you need it. It a prn drug which means prescribed as needed. You'll need to find ways to keep your self busy. Like a new hobby or a good movie. Something to keep your mind off of cigs and to keep your mind off the stress that caused you to start smoking to begin with.People who smoke (including me) usually start smoking to calm their level of stress. Stress causes anxiety. So the only way to reduce your anxiety and stay off the medication is to reduce your stress levels. When you feel start to feel that stress coming on try deep breathing, or even exercising. Try googling stress reliefe techniques.
