How long did you have to take Diamox after cataract surgery?

i never had to take any meds after my cataract surgery, i was only 35 when i had both eyes done due to taking so much predisone and got hit in the face by my x's gf. i was almost blind b4 i had my surgery and now i only need glasses to read small print. ur dr should of told u why u have to take that med, ask him/her if u have concerns. hope all is well. Diamox is given after cataract surgery to reduce intraocular pressure. It is given in pill form and can also be injected but is usually given by pill form. It is usually taken for a day or two.
