How is Concerta different from Methylin ER?

Hello tdetert. Both are are comprised of methylphenidate. Concerta is taken in one dose and once per day. Its used to treat ADHD in adults as well as children. Whereas Methylin ER when taken, the dose will last about 8 hours. Its not approved to treat ADHD in adults but is approved to treat Narcolepsy in adults.
