How flexible is the expiration on prescription medication?

Details:

One is a prescription for Cyclobenzaprine 10MG dated 05/29/08. Another is Hydrocodone APAP 5-500 TAB dated 03/19/09, and the last is for the same but dated 12/01/06.

Any medication is good up to two years tops and they only will be good past two years if you kept it in a cool and dry place. Beside's the one for 06 they all sound like they are still good to go.
