Quinine can cause thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura-hemolytic uremic syndrome (a syndrome characterized by abnormalities, chiefly blood clots, within the small blood vessels of the body) which can lead to kidney failure.

I have chronic kidney failure stage 4. It is my understanding that quinine is not good for kidneys. My questions is, is this formulation safe for CKF?
