After 3 months of asthma treatment with fluticasone/salmeterol I observed that the memory of my child is worsening. He forgets every day something in the school. (His books/ homeworks) He need to ask his classmates. Should I stop the medication?
How does it act fluticasone/salmeterol over the brain?

This is not an answer, just a shared concern! My son has been on advair for several years and despite every strategy I have tried his ability to focus and remember is steadily declining! My concerns are continually dismissed my his doctor and I am so frustrated for my poor boy. He has the drive and desire to do well and we can't seem to help him get it together. It is affecting his grades and now his self esteem. I have just ( today!) changed his doctor and will bring my concerns to him as well. I will try to remember to let you know the results!

After the answer I feel it was biased, (that the children are... ) I forgot to give him the medicine. He remember today all the things. It is also possible that a lot of stress was simultaneously involved.
But the lucky side is, he don't need to take medicine anymore. He can breathe almost normally again.
This aspect could be a study case for the labs. or doctors.
