abdouglI was prescribed Mephyton but the cost after insurance was $398. The OTC vitamin K2 is 16.95 for the same strength & quantity.

Mephyton contains vitamin k1 not vitamin k2 - although they are similar.
You should check with your doctor first before changing supplements.
