I need to know what their actions/behavior are like if addicted. I am not sure they are using, but they have in the past.

If someone is taking more than prescribed, taking them when they are not needed, running out of their RX before the alloted amount of time, then I would think there is an addiction factor here.
Could you add more info to your question? You may get more answers if you add more info, such as how often is this person taking it, are they running out of it early, taking too many at one time, etc.
