I have been using Symlin for some time - a few months now. I am nausiated in the morning after taking it and cannot eat. I also take Lantus in the morning and am injecting them in separate places. I have noticed a clicking sound after injecting Symlin and counting to 5. If I hold for longer, there is another clicking sound. Does this sound have anything to do with the dosage? If it clicks more than once am I receiving a double dose?
I tested the pen outside of my body - there is no clicking sound and the liquid comes out for as long as I hold the button down. Is there something in the pen that prevents injection of more than the dosage set?
