How desloratadine acts as decongestant?

Desloratidine will not act directly as a decongestant. Desloratidine is an anti-histamine. If the release of histamine is causing some congestion it will help a bit with that. However, it will not, itself, open the nasal passages.

What can you take for a cold while on 50mgs of Trazodone?
