I finshed a round of metronidazole/Flagyl in 3/2010 & a two week dosage of Vancocin in 5/2010. ( I felt great for the 2 weeks I was on it ). But I'm sick again. I would really like my life back. What else can I do?
How can I get rid of my C.difficile? This is the 4th time I've gotten it in the last 7 years?

In about 15 to 35 percent of cases, more than one round of antibiotics is needed to treat c diff.
Has your doctor suggested trying probiotics while taking antibiotics?
Probiotics, or “good bacteria,” such as Saccharomyces boulardii, may be helpful against repeat C. diff. infections.
Talk with your doctor.
