i know somebody who just started taking this drug for their supposed pain. but she has had a past of addiction to narcotics. im just wondering how bad this drug will get to her.

It won't because it was pulled off the market by the FDA about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. I am not sure where this person got them, but these and darvocet were pulled because they were liked to fatal heart events. It was addictive though as well and a separate dangerous thing is that it has acetaminophen in them and they are considered kinda weak for a buzz and people take more and more and the acetaminophen can cause problems for your liver.

Ok, just read another post by you ( I think) and yes, darvon and darvocet are addictive. It kinda is the weaker kid step sister of Heroin, if that helps you put it in perspective any. Most people consider it a weak pain killer, so, they take many at one time. It always worked for my migraines for some reason, but it has been pulled. If someone takes more than one type of opiate, they are going to get addicted, it doesn't matter that the meds aren't the same, it is all opiate to the brain.
