So far i'm doing ok but I think I"M either sucking them down too fast or they don't last as long as they say they do? But let me just say that in 2 weeks i'm starting to feel better. Taking walks every night"not more then up n down the street but even that's an improvement for me. I'm sleepilg much better too. walking must really be helpping cause I cut my xanax out at bedtime. So if anyone out there is thinking of giving it a try then go for it... pete :)

Good evening Pete,
At first (dense me) didn't know what you were talking about. I was like... oooh, what's this??? When I finally caught on, I thought how cool for you! I only smoked for a year after my brother & fathers unexpected deaths. I soon found out how difficult quiting was. That was a little over 2 years ago. I quit with the help of cymbalta. In any event my health improved rapidly just as I am assuming your will. Best of luck to you. I sent you an email to the address you have me. Respond at will bud.
Also, I seen that same David letterman show a few months back. Glad you are onto something healthy and safe!
Mark
I meant chantex - not cymbalta. I get these two mixed up all the time. My bad.
Anna (or Pickles) you are so cute and funny, love reading your posts.

Pete, I don't know why I didn't recieve this, but I'm just now reading it.
Great Job, keep it up. Hope you are still on the E-cigs. I tried one brand of menthol, and I didn't care for the taste. So disappointing, but, there are so many different brands out there to chose from.
Best of luck to you
Kelly, did you just call Pete a cold turkey? L, Anna
Kelly, I hope you knew that was a joke. L, Anna

Pete, that is the most WONDERFUL news!! Congratulations to you!! You deserve it!! Please make sure and reward yourself after each milestone, such as each successful week, and if perhaps you do have little blip, don't beat yourself up, just get going where exactly you left off!! people don't take enough time on themselves to reward GREAT accomplishments!! It is so good for you psychologically, though. Perhaps you would treat yourself to a massage, or a ballgame, or something special, just for you. (Think of all the money you are saving, not buying cigs.)
Truly, you deserve the highest praise. Cigarettes are harder to quit than heroin, and YOU sir, are doing it!!! Best wishes to you my friend, and you have my full support and admiration!!

Pete, you can bet your sweet bippy I'm going to try it. I'm using patches now. They work pretty good. It's that hand to mouth thing that I miss. I just wish my mouth had a backspace key. I'm so proud of you. Thank you for posting this info. I've learned a lot. God bless you and you take care, Pete. Anna
haven't heard anyone say sweet bippy in years. that was from roin n martines "laugh in". wow are you as old as me? lol but your right about the hand to mouth thing. good call. but holding them heavy things in your mouth is another problem althgether. give them a try... subzero58
That's funny! I never thought about holding up an ounce of cigarette. That would make me WANT to quit. They weigh about the same amount as a new born.

Hi Pete! My son bought an e-cig and it's amazing, so much so that David Letterman had Katherine Heigl on his show last night and they spent time discussing it. David Letterman even tried it on air. He said that the e-cig will really make a person stop. Thank you for sharing. Congrats on your achievement. God bless you and take care, Pete. Anna
