Side effects of carvedilol vary from person to person.It may impair your thinking or reaction. Be careful when you drive or do anything that requires you to be active and alert. Avoid drinking alcohol within 2 hrs before or after taking extended release carvedilol. Take this med before bedtime and with a full glass of water. Take it at the same time everyday. Also watch out for allergic reaction such as hives. Hope this will help
