How high is your blood pressure that you would need more than 250mg of Adalat? Adalat is a calcium channel blocker, pregnancy category C meaning benefits can outweigh the risks basically if you are pregnant.

There are lots of medications in the calcium channel blocker category. I've used them myself for many years. There are extended release meds and instant release as well. Would need to know more about your health history/conditions.

Is your blood pressure still high at that dose or are you experiencing side effectsif I may ask? I've had high blood pressure myself, have used Adalat as well, but don't recall taking a similar dose. Is that coming from your OBGYN? I wouldn't advise taking anything obviously without his/her knowledge. God bless.
