I am now on Norvasc 5 mg. How does the strength of 60 mg of Procardia XL compare to 5 mg of Norvasc ? For example, would 5mg of Norvasc be similar to 30 mg of Procardia XL ?

I'm sorry I couldn't find any information about the interchangeable dose of nifedipine to amlodipine.
It's best to talk to your doctor as to how they work out the dose conversion.
It looks like they have started you off with the lowest strength of amlodipine and may work up the dose as needed.
