Hi! Is there any essential differences (which makes a difference on how they work, are metabolized, way of action, possible side effects of each) between the drugs Lofibra, Tricor and Trilipix?

The drugs you mention are all different brands of Fenofibrate. They all work in the same way and are commonly used to help lower triglyceride and cholesterol levels in the blood.

Thanks suzanne66. Thus; Should I understand that the way both Fenofibrate and Fenofibric Acid are broken down, metabolized and used by the body are absolutely the same? My doubt arises from the fact that Fenofibrate and Fenofibric Acid are very similar but not identical chemicals. Further comments are gratefully welcome. Thanks in advance.
