I know from experience that Lyrica made me sick to my stomach. I also know that you should not drink any kind of alcohol what so ever while being on Lyrica. I am guessing that the beer is interacting with the Lyrica. My suggestion is to look up Lyrica on this very website to see what the side effects are and see if diarrhea and flatulence are indeed side effects. You can also check the package insert or ask a registered pharmacist. Good Luck and I hope you feel better.

Just another thought, remember also that beer itself tends to cause diarrhea and gas when consumed in excess. Maybe you just can't handle the volume you are consuming.
