I had an Ectopic pregnancy. I used to work as a Health Care Aide and would walk a lot. All of a sudden I would get a sharp knife like feeling in my rectum. I was like that for about a few weeks. Then I lost a large blood clot. I was sent for an ultrasound and they thought I had an ectopic pregnancy. My doctor sent me to the hospital to meet another doctor but when I got there that doctor was not found so they sent me home. Another ultrasound was booked for the next morning. When I arrived that morning the doctor missing said to me he had waited for me that evening. Make a long story short if your friend is told she has this to go to the doctor or hospital right away. It's dangerous. Don't wait for more pain. My pain threshold is high. I was booked for surgery right away. Had surgery that evening. All went well, but they got it on time because my ectopic had erupted and went all on my stomach wall. I felt fine the next day and went home.

If your friend had an ectopic pregnancy and has surgery mention to her that if she does not need a DNC, she can get pregnant faster. I had my ectopic in Dec and by Feb. I was pregnant again. I also had second child 2 years and 8 months later too.
