Hi can anyone tell me why fragmin jabs hert so much, it feels like acid running through my veins?

Sandy - Where are you injecting yourself? Are you injecting yourself around your waist or in your thighs? Are you pinching a fold of skin at your waist or thigh before you inject yourself? Are you changing the injection site each day? Every once in a while when I inject myself it feels like it is burning as I inject the medication but not each time. Most of the time I have not gotten a good pinch on the fold of skin before injecting myself.

Hi DemoninDC, injecting in my waist , done everything you have done but hurts like hell,nurse said everyones diffrent ,thank god last jab was sunday,had blood done inr 1.4 so clinic upt warfarin 6 tonight,normal dose as from tomos,1.4 is due to my op clinic said,im on 2 n 3 which is good for me as keeps my inr at target of 2.3 / 2.5 sandy England .
So are you discontinuing the Fragmin and just going on the Warfarin? Are you ready for all of the testing or are you going to do the testing at home?
Stoped fragmin on sunday was on this 2wks befor op n after op ,now back on my warfarin been on it 2 years,now on it for life due to 3 dvts in left leg n 1 in right leg,have been at target 5 months 2.3 n 2.5 sandy England
