I realize this answer is very late but may be helpful in future.
Valtrex can cause dizziness and headaches. You may just need to take a rest when you experience symptoms like this.

No, I haven't used Valtrex myself.
Again another late answer. I take Valtrex 500mg daily. I had the same experience including a upset stomach and actually lost my balance several times. After 30 days the symptoms disappeared.
