Hepatitis C - This is clays wife and I found out I had hep b and hep c in 2007. I am to the point?

Dear Clay's Wife, i know you are scared and probably are having a tough time figuring out what to do first. As scared as you are, you will have to see the dr first, then an addiction specialist for counseling and an attorney, just in case. The dr can diagnose and offer treatment, the addiction specialist will know of resources for hep b and c suffererw that a norml plain counselor might not know of and the attorney will help with legal papers you may need. I realize you might not hqve insurance or extra money, if that is the case, try some AA meetings, listen for people wno identify as addicts and ask them about resources and programs for those who do NOT have money or insurances, they may have been thru something similar and know whe these programs are.

A second option for that would be you local mental health facility, the one your town, city or county runs, they are usually based on income, they may also know of programs or resources to help, and may have a low cost or no cost addiction specialist. I see you have been sober for 2 years, congrats, but an addiction specialist will have treated others in similar circumstances and can guide and support you, that is why you want to still use that type of counselor. They are great at helping you figure out what to do first, and what your options are, or whqt programs you qualify for. Where i live, they qre trying to help those with hep c, and i think they can get peope signed up for medicaid quickly. You will have support on this site, if you stay.
