I was wondering if anybody can help me with this, if anyone can tell me how to take these suboxone, i want nothing more than to do this correctly, i have everything to lose... please help me

you certainly don't need buprenorphine after one 1 yr of abusing oxycodone. Get to a doctor if you really want help or you may end up doing more harm to yourself then good. Suboxone is way out of your league and you really could end up with a real addiction which believe me, you don't want... Good luck... Dave

hi dude,u gotta stop takin pills if u want the sub to work. if u keep takin subs then perk and back to subs your only fooling yourself.not to mention waisting your subs.sounds to me like your not ready to get clean.if u wana live like that good luck, but if u wana get clean and start takin subs seriously then stay away from pills and stop waisting ur life.then by all means put me in your friends list. but if u want to keep on taking perk, and every kinda pill u can find, stop waiting my time cause this is life or death to me.when ur ready text me im subzero58.
how long did you wait for induction...
this is the second time im gona tell u the same thing. R U realy gona liston this time? do u still have percs? if u do take them and when there all gone, wait 24 hrs untill u start taking your subs, ok? if u cant hang on for 24 hrs, that's 1day. then start your subs. half at a time. if you dont feel relife in 15-20min then take the other half. dont take another one for at least 12hrs. then take 1 if u dont feel any better in 15-20min take another half. wait 12 more hrs then try it all over again.i can't see that u should need more than 1 and 1half. for the first 3days you should know how much sub u need. if your just trying to get high on subs, news flash subs don't make u high. have a nice day.good luck to you.when your feeling better let me know,i really do care about my fellow man.i just don't have time for anyone who wants to plat with there life... subvert58.

If you REALLY want to do it right go to a doctor. Don't put yourself through more hell than you need to. Be honest and place your trust in your doctor and be truthful and sign the contract that state you will follow the rules because if you don't there will be random drug test. Do this for yourself and for those who love you. You already know what doing it the wrong way did to you so what's the right answer. Good luck with this God Bless
i must be doing this wrong i am sick as hell... i am going to the ER... thank you for your kindness.
I hope you did follow all the good advice and get help Keep me informed

yes bro, check this out, i just fund this site and I have been asking the same question that you asked and its been hours and I still havent received a responsee. If I get the responses that you got, then I don't even want them. Sounds like a lot of people are sounding like they are on their high horse, or like they are trying to play some kind of roll with you. When in turn, you asked a simple question, and all you needed was some kind of answer. Not if you have more percs, and if you do then your not gonna quit. Where did that come from. Anyway, I have heard that people have takin it as early as the fifteen hour mark, and others have told me forty eight hours. I think it all depends on the person. I am getting ready to take it myself for the first time in a while and I dont want to screw it up either. Everyone says do what the doctor says, well I dont have a doctor, but they all say the same... take it when experiencing mild/moderate withdraws.
I hope you started your sub treatment by now. Be sure to take them at the same time every day. Since you are doing this on your own, try to find the right time and dosage to keep you stable. It may take a while for you to find that custom schedule that works for YOU. Just be careful ok? I know it's hard to be patient, but it will be worth it in the end. It takes a lot of determination to come clean. Apparently you have it. It's been a few days since your post. I hope your subs are starting to get you "level" for lack of a better term. I'm sorry I brought my personal issues to your serious question. I had the same problem as you only worse. If you can forgive my ignorant comments, please add me as a friend, I will always help however I can.

That 12-24 hour period is crucial. It will make the difference between you going into withdrawals, or you going into very slight withdrawals for a short period of time. I am a senior business management major at ASU and have extensive knowledge on this drug (suboxone). The best way for you to take it is by taking a percocet or two about 4 hours before you go to sleep (so you wont be going to bed withdrawing), this way, when you wake up in the morning, you will have already slept off 8-10 hours of sleep plus the four hour period of Percocet use before bed. A total of around 12-15 hours since the last time you took anything. So your'e almost there

Dear coma, welcome to the site. I am guessing a dr did NOT give these to you, no judgment, but good subs drs make sure you waited and they keep you in the office and monitor you for at least 1 hour after it is administered. Please google the COWS sheet, clinical opiate withdrawal scale, you should be at a score of 26 and be short acting opiate free for at least 24 hours in order to prevent precipitated withdrawal, which is what you have. If I am correct and you are not using a dr, I am going to encourage you to use one and an addiction therapist. No one wants to do the therapy OR admit they have a problem, but if you want to end this nightmare merry-go- round, you must do it. Please look up suboxone in Wikipedia.org and pay close attention to how strong it says it is compared to morphine, it is NOTHING to play around with and try to heal yourself with without proper medical treatment and therapy.

Suboxone can be very helpful for any opiate addiction does not matter the time or length of it!! Well hun you HAVE to stop taking the percs if you want it to work! What you experienced is precipated withdrawl, you need to wait atleast 24-48 hours!!WIsh you the best you can do it!!

If you wanna take suboxone in place of the percocet, and I'm speaking from experience as I've been on suboxone for some years. You have to be into full withdrawals from the oxycodone(percocet),I mean when it's really ugly!! It's very hard to do,but you must be in withdrawals. I'd say if you waited 12 hours,I gather it sent you into withdrawals. Thats what it does if taken too soon. Wait at least 24 hours and I know thats hell if you're an addict like i am,but thats what it takes... God bless you man and I'm sayin a prayer for you... jimmyburt

Hi coma I have been on suboxone now for about two years and before that I was on methadone, after my last dose of methadone I had to wait about three days to take suboxone so I wouldn't go into withdraw and it worked, but my husband didn't wait as long as I did and it sent him into immediate withdraw!!! I would recommend not taking anymore perks and wait atleast 24-48 hours and then take your suboxone and then you should be in the clear!!! I hope everything works out for you!!! :-)

Suboxone is to pain pills as what methadone is to heroin. I work with a Dr in addiction and i know this from him and my own experience that you can be addicted to percs, vicodin, oxycodone, and have success with suboxone you just might not need as much of a dose as someone using heroin would. I know that methadone is better high users of heroin. As for time goes it all depends on how much you took at your last dose... How much you been using etc they say that you should wait 24hours (that is minimum) BUT, i have seen people in really bad withdrawl at 12hours and the suboxone helped some pain meds are short life span while others are longer lifed... Safe is better than sorry if you are not using a Dr (which you should) takes more than a few suboxone for a real addict to get clean. Wait 24hours that is considered "safe zone" by medical standard
