Feb. of last month I had my period around the first week. I started birth control on the 21st, before my next period, which they told me to since I wasn't sexually active. I had sex on Feb 27th and it was protected partly but he pulled out and had a little precum. I have yet to start this month but I've been having cramps and all that associated with having a period. Could this mean I'm about to start soon? I am taking the placebo pills out of my first pack.

You said, I am taking the placebo pills out of my first pack. May I ask why are you doing this? You need that after you take the active pills.
You should try an EPT test to see how you stand.The first month on the pill you should always use a back up.

I agree, take a pregnancy test, however it is not uncommon for someone to start on the last or second to last inactive pill. You could be just late and the pills have lessened your period or messed up it's cycle. Ideally, you are supposed to start the pack on the first sunday of your period even if you start on a sunday.You are protected after you have taken the first 21 pills if you don't miss any even during the inactive pills. If the pregnancy test is negative and you still don't start, call your doctor or repeat the test a week later. DO NOT stop taking your pills unless the doctor verifies you are pregnant.

I have already to the active pills and so I'm in my 2nd placebo pill as of today. & thank you.
