Treatment for Brucella:

The antimicrobials most commonly used include Doxycycline (Vibramycin), Streptomycin, Rifampin (Rifadin), Gentamicin (Garamycin), and Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim, Septra). The combination of antibiotics used will vary based on disease severity, age and pregnancy.

Cefixime as an alternate treatment, you need to consult the doc, please do not take any med without seeking the advice of the doc.

Take care, be safe & well, please.
