At present, my dad takes aspirin. He has been using Plavix for 2-3 years but it no longer thins his blood. His doctor recommended that we try finding Effient (Prasugrel) from abroad or online, but we can't find this drug and the pharmacists have not heard of it.

Effient is available via a doctors prescription in America.
