filthyfew4I have been on enbrel for about a year and a half 50 mil sureclick now twice a week and my son was I sick now I have it and can't shake it.
Hello has anyone here ever get a cold on enbrel and has it taken forever to get rid of?

I think your primary dr. should be treating your cold. Embrel will lower your immune system to the point you might need strong meds. to kick the cold. It might also mean going off the embrel until you finish your meds. Embrel is a wonderful drug but along with the other drugs for RA and PSA it will lower your immune system... good luck and remember when you are well you should ask your dr. about getting the flu shot...

My husband has been on enbrel for several years. Since he started it every time he gets sick he gets very sick and it lasts longer, this wasn't the case before he was on enbrel. It is because enbrel weakens the immune system. Airborne is something I have gotten him and it seems to help. Take it as soon as you feel sick and each day until you feel better. Good luck
