Hello! I was on for 5 years. I never had headaches, but I did sweat a whole lot. I know the headaches are more of your problem so sorry that I don't have any input on that. Do you drink a lot of water? I noticed since I have decreased my Sub from 16mgs down to 3.5mgs I am VORACIOUSLY thirsty. When I was taking the higher levels of Sub I was never thirsty. I would get headaches from dehydration. So yea keep yourself hydrated and if they persist maybe try a chiro? I know it sounds wierd but I was getting tension headaches from my bad back if I slept funny and one trip to the chiropractor fixed me up proper.

I agree keep hydrated, but also if you just quit drinking coffee, that will give you massive headaches, and the light makes it worse-more like a migraine.
I aslo think, seeing that I have been on it for unfortunatley years, just now weening, that it has truly changed my brain chemistry, my body responses, etc. The drug, like any drus changes your whole make up and that could be the side affect for you? I have been trying to take as little as possible, my dr, is "closing" his doors, strange since last i wrote to you I was saying it was like a revolving door of "patients". I knew this day would come, maybe-no yes, the higher up's know whats up, over medicating, to anyone, with 100's of patients. Anyways that's beside your question, but it has been on my mind, now what?

hey thanks for your response..im gonna stay on the subs untill i am no longer on prob when i got my prob the judge said i better not here of you failing a test for it so the first year i still took lorecets,and then things got to close i allmost got caught and i knew i had to do something.so i found a doc who prescribed it ..anyway i exsplaine evrything to him and i told him i needed to be on it for 3 years and my p.o. agreed with me so i finally talked to the doc and he agreed after him and my probation officer talked..anyway i would like to keep in touch with you,i also want to know how long you have been taking them?and what are the longterm effects?

When I first started the suboxone for about one months I got bad headaches. I have been on them since Oct 2009 and I do not get them at all now. I was up to 8mg and I am at 3mg and I feel fine. I am doing a slow taper so I might just stay at 3mg for a month or two before I drop again. Coffee or caffiene is infamous for makeing some people sweat. It can be winter and when I drink a cup of coffee I sweat and coffee acts as a diuretic so you urinate more. I think the sweating is from the coffee and the headaches is a combo of the subs and dehydration. Thats alot of coffee. So drink more water switch to decaff or atleast every other cup. hey i just wanted to say thanks i do drink alot of water but i also drink alot of coffee in the morning snd i work outside,anyway i thank you are right,i have stopped drinking the coffee about 12 cups every morning. i thank that thats why i get so dehydrated even when i do drink alot of water..i just realized that i am dehydrating myself before i go and cut grass all day..so im cutting the coffee out.i allready feel better but i have to wait for the big test on tuesday when i go to work.. i will let you know how it goes..thank you
Oh wow! I can only imagine working outside dealing with all that heat and sun! I'm a big coffee drinker too so I understand, I would do the same thing to myself. I would drink coffee all day... so yea i'm glad you're feeling a bit better. Just a question how long do you plan on being on the Sub?
probably till i get off probation,because i got caught with lorcets when i was arrested,and the judge a said you better not ever come up on a drug screen for this..so anyway i have been addicted to hydrocodone and others for 11 years.anyway i thought i could do the prob without messing up.but withen in a month iwas on them.but i made it by trying to caculate my drug test.anyway i made it like a year like that..but thing where really getting close to getting caught.so i decided to try the subs and its been working great this last seven months..but to answer your question i will be on them for atleast another 3and 1/2 years its a precaution and i know if im not on it i will mess up.. so iw ill be on subs for awhile,i allready exsplained it to my doc,and my p.o.and they agree..but i would like an outsiders opinion..so write me back please
