I was just diagnoised with larynx cancer Jan 18th 2011.. As well as its in a lymph node in the left side of my neck..My regimine is.. Platinol Chemo 3 days in a row every 3 weeks... x 3 sessions... And.. 37 Radation treatments

i had mouth cancer in June 11 2011 had lymph nodes left side taken out part of tongue out also was lucky they said i didnt need radiation or chemo started with little sore in mouth got bigger over 3 month period. wnt for checkup 1 a month for 6 months everything was fine. then in Dec 22 2011 was diagonised with mouth cancer again stage 3 early this time i had more tongue cut out all lymph nodes left on right side had all my bottom teeth pulled and cancer on outside of neck also in my case have to have 46 radiation treatments 15 chemo with cisptin very old chemo drug but effective prognoisis good lots of side effects hearing & kidneys lots of blood work . hearing tests b 4 each chemo treatment i am almost 1/2 way finished been real lucky with not be nausea and sick at my stomach hope this helps someone out there i have a lot of support from my sweet dear lovely wife who has lots of medical issues and my 12 year old son i am 49 years old and a vet hope to here from someone in a similiar sistutaion
