It was prescribed at 5 2x daily for 2 wks, then up to 10 2x daily. I also take .50 mcg of Synthroid 1x daily. I do not have a weight problem. (128lbs.) I have Hashimoto's disease and hypothyroidism.
Having read about potential side effects of liothyronine, can I start with 2 1/2 mg rather than 5?
